Perhaps I am the only one, but I feel that the art of picking up women has become very over-complicated.

I'm a big advocate of natural game. I don't go out with routines or canned openers, but instead go out and just be who I am.

Sure, things like the "3 second rule" or looking for IOI/IOD's are things that I implement, however they are natural occurrences within male-female interactions if you are charming them, or creeping them out. They'll happen regardless. You're bound to have a girl interested in you, or not interested in you, end of story.

I put it down to just being fun. Just being a man. Just being playful and a bit cocky (or in my case, a lot cocky haha). Just bantering, and not following scripted routines. Not my scene.

Do you think it has been over-complicated?

I think the types of guys that have always gotten laid will always get laid..

All that canned stuff is for the guys who have no idea whats going on or what to do for a woman. The guys that have been being themselves there entire lives and are still virgins so they're in search of something foreign to who they have always been.
