I'm also Dutch and have experienced the same problem in the beginning. Usually you like some introduction. Just keep practicing your routines or develop some on your own in your own language. Having a wing for things like this can be really useful.
A wing of mine uses the really lame ones like: "do you think my friend looks gay and who lies more? Girls or guys?' He does it in Dutch and I am always amazed that no one called him out on it.
Sure sometimes one of these routines backfires, but if you learn how to deliver them with confidence it doesn't really matter in which language it is. 7 out of 10 times the routines yield really nice and exciting conversations with sets and that is exactly what youre looking for.
But again, my best advice would be to develop some routines on your own, routines that fit your personality and make YOU comfortable intstead of the targeted set.

Get this, F-Closed a French HB9 who works for the resort I'm staying at, got invited to a private dinner with a German HB6.5 who also works at the resort (stood her up for plans to go to the nightclub that night, could've probably F Closed but I was tired..) and today I found out from the bartender here that a group of 4 cute Brazilian chicks are trying to find me.
Basically use the language barrier to your advantage. It makes for an awesome "mysterious" vibe.

Make sure they know you want to have a good time! Just play cool like if you were in your "element" you'd be picking up hotties left and right. Girls can feel that vibe.
