Do you guys think I still look 'like a kid'?
I mean, if you saw me on the streets, would you assume I was 16, or a little older?
You look your age. Yeah you're still a kiddo but that's no problem. You don't want to look 20 when you're only 16.

No piercings man.

Go listen to some good music, grow your hair, buy some band t shirts. That kinda thing.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I'll be going shopping soon to get some new clothes.

I think I like the way my hair is, but I might get it cut a little differently next time, and I might use some kind of product in there. I've used the white Axe paste stuff, and I like how that looks.

Besides some nice dark wash jeans, one thing people overlook is accessories. Get a necklace or a nice watch. It is a good way for women to approach you and comment on something. I have a neon green fairly bulky watch i throw on sometimes when I go out purely as a conversation starter or something people will notice right away, mild peacock. And a necklace or bracelet that tells a story is always good to, just as its easy to comment on a particular woman's accessories and ask if there is a story behind it, its easy to tell a story and bring in an accessory to it to give it a personal touch. No on the piercings but make yourself standout from everyone else a little bit, you are a good looking kid.

looks don't matter,
just shower everyday, smell nice, and shave facial hair
what you need is body language and tone of voice.

Looks DO matter. How you dress DOES matter. I spent over a 1000 euros on
clothes in august and it really changed my game. More girls approach me after
that, and better looking girls. Before going out, ALWAYS take attention on how you look!

The following is from the book "The evolution of desire - by David Buss":

"Wearing costly clothing works equally well in both contexts. One
study found that women who are shown slides of different men are more
attracted to men who wear expensive clothing, such as three-piece suits,
sports jackets, and designer jeans, than to men who wear cheap clothing,
such as tank tops and T-shirts. This effect occurs whether the woman is
evaluating the man as a marital partner or as a sex partner, perhaps
because expensive clothing signals both immediate resources and future
resource potential. The anthropologists John Marshall Townsend and
Gary Levy verified that the effect of the expense and status of clothing
in attracting women is robust across any sort of involvement, from
merely having coffee with a man to marriage. The same men were photographed
wearing either a Burger King uniform with a blue baseball
cap and a polo-type shirt or a white dress shirt with a designer tie, a navy
blazer, and a Rolex watch. Based on these photographs, women state
that they are unwilling to date, have sex with, or marry the men in the
low-status costumes, but are willing to consider all these relationships
with men in high-status garb."

Re: Casco1983

You have a point there. I guess I made a really big generalization when I said looks don't matter. However, in the case of the author of this thread, Envying, I don't think he should be worrying about his looks at all. Just look at him! And wearing tuxedo and jewelry in school is under a social context is different than looking at a picture in a magazine. I don't think he can get away with looking flashy at school without knowing how to handle certain types of social and peer bombardment.

- Do some weights/regular exercise... read up on 'clean bulking' so you put on muscle without too much fat as u seem pretty lean already
- A tan
- Spend money on a good hairdresser to a haircut that suits your head shape and jawline
- Get some in fashion threads however stuff you feel confident wearing and
'
As for piercings and tatts - a bit extreme.. bottom line you should be changing your style for yourself and what you feel comfortable with.. not for others.

Here is an example of one of my semi-casual not "dressed down" but not "too flashy" ensembles.
Now given this might not be your style I'm just giving an example of one of the many styles available.
I hope you find what works best for you!
Something I also always find that can bring out ANY clothing is of course how you accessorize. Now whether or not this sounds "girly" you may want to try it.
Get a semi long gold/silver chain, then right above that wear a slightly smaller necklace.
Something like a small wooden beaded necklace or such, women like to play with my chain and I can let them play with the cheap one while keeping the gold one on my neck at all times.

Re: Call_Me_X

At any social event, i guess if you dress better than the average guy, you're already ahead. But no need to be TOO flashy.

If I were you, I'd go for a mohawk-style haircut like this:

Get some sun ; hit the gym (you look skinny) ; and change these jeans.
Go for dark wash jeans, as people have said, probably skinny or classic fit.

For tops, once you've filled in a bit, V-neck fitted t-shirts, and shirts.
Try Mark Mason shoes or boots.

For a bit of peacocking: try a bolongaro trevor belt, a fun necklace (bullet/razor blade/ dog tags/shark's tooth).

For a watch, these Armani sports watch actually looks really nice: http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalo ... LMBEPICMAs

Hope this helps!

I wouldn't do tattoos and piercings. In industrialized western countries they are usually a sign of low social class or a criminal background. Some girls like the "bad boy" type guys but i can tell you they do still go for the more flashy and a bit metrosexual looking guys.

Just don't look like the average guy. I would change the jeans and the shirt. Grow some more hair. Eat a lot and work out so you'll build up some muscle but there is no need to be very muscular.

Arcemu, I like the way you dress. Where did you get the jacket? Also, what do you do with your hair?

And I do have 2 or 3 necklaces that I wear sometimes. I guess I'll need to make up some story behind them, don't I?
I just wanted to thank all of you guys for suggestions...

But why do you think that dark jeans are more stylish/better looking than lighter jeans?
