I ended our conversation by telling her she was going to be my study buddy. I gave her my number and minutes later i got a text "hey ;)"
Is the "study buddy" idea lame? How can i upgrade from study buddy?

I usually do this like a few times in a semester, I usually take time to seat by her get to know her, build the comfort, flirt, then ask her out to go somewhere (coffee, eat, whatever).

She's got a boyfriend which could pose a problem, but it's long distance so I'm not too worried. I'm working on escalating before I get friend zoned. I've always accidentally let that happen.
I'm all about my kino though. I'm trying to learn negs too. I tend to want to outright compliment. which doesn't get short term results.
I also used a memory routine I made up. "okay weird question, do you remember the first time you swore/used a cuss word?" I Proceed to explain I'm playing words with friends with my younger cousin [name]. "she's fourteen and I've got all the letters to write a$$"(I'm not sure on the swearing policy here) I'd like to experiment with different ages and word options.
She told me how she had an older brother So she picked up the skill young.and she remembered the first time she dropped an f bomb. I'd didn't read any into her word choice.
I know if you don't cuss often just the act of swearing will cause your brain to release endorphins. Would those feelings become associated with me?
I could've dug deeper and gotten the full story but it was mid class.

She tried three different times to convince me to sign up for her "human Sexuality" class. I figured a class like this could be interesting as well as help with my game. After I switched to the class I texted her saying "I'd have to see her everyday now. ick..."
Her response was "You love me, You just don't know it yet. ;)"
I said "we'd see". She said "we shall"
IOI?
She also Showed me her lower back tattoo, which was her boyfriends name. I'm pickin up mixed signals on that one.

but a tattoo of her boyfriend suggests she's pretty committed. Welcome to friend-zone in my oppionion, but feel free to prove me wrong! Good luck!
