EVERYWHERE! Book stores, coffee shops, pumpkin patches... given the time of year (Superbad reference).

If you're in school, that's probably your best bet. You can meet girls at your work, but that can be a risky, obviously. But yeah, book stores, coffee shops, supermarkets, public transportation, the mall, and the movies are all great places to start. Hell, I've met girls at donut shops, fast food joints, drag racing events... you name it. Girls are virtually everywhere.
