Girls aren't going to open you, deal with it. Very rarely do women make the first move, they like waiting for guys to do it. One of my exes had a thing for me for like a month before I started talking to her, but she wouldn't make the first move. I have chick friends who have straight up told me that it's the guys job to make the first move and he should be able to tell if a girl is digging on him.

Man up and approach. Yeah, AA is a bitch, believe me I have horrible AA, but you gotta work on getting past it.

they literally nearly always give some type of in for you if you notice it...i developed somewhat of an instinct for it

From my own experience (me included), when a person stares at someone, it's when that person isn't looking. They're checking them out and don't want that person to know. As soon as that person notices, that's when it gets awkward and eye contact is broken. Staring is just plain uncomfortable.
