When I approach a group of people I have the subconscious thought that I cannot interrupt the conversation for if I do they will perceive me as rude. The only other option in my mind is too approach a group of as if I know I belonged there and wait for an opening to join the conversation but I know that option is creepy. So I never end up entering into any groups. So if anyone can help me destroy this pattern please let me in on the secret that you hold in your mind.

First off you need to work on your inner game to develop the AMOG (Alpha Male of the Group) behaviour. The alpha male could care less who he interupts because he's the most important person in his world, let alone the venue you're in. I know exactly how you feel. First off you are thinking too much. You are allowing yourself to think too much. As soon as you enter a room in a club, bar, whever, you find a set to open. As soon as you spot the set, you open them within 3 seconds. 1-2-3-GO! The more you wait the more you think and talk yourself out of it. Myself, and my wings have all had this problem. It's easy to fix but it's a matter of getting in the habit of opening the group.
Women of beauty are very rarely found alone! ~ Mystery. You have to learn to open groups. Do a few warm up sets when you walk into a venue. Who cares if they are 6's 7's or whatever just open them. The idea is you walk in and you are social. You're talking to all kinds of people. By the time you open that other group you're warmed up.
3 Second rule, 1-2-3-Go! For you inner game, if you have a service I recommend you download David DeAngelo's stuff. It'll help you get over your inner demons.
Questions about AMOG behaviour use the search tool. There is tons of material on here about it.
Good Luck! _________________ Been around the world twice, Talked to everyone once...
