What excatly is push pull and can i get some examples

I hear a lot about push pull but I doont understand how to implemet it effectively

I had a girl once do this to me (AFC I know, but I learnt from it). HB was talking to a group and I overhear her.

HB: Don't miss me yea.
Me: *goes up to her* Hey I miss you already.
HB: Oh really? That's fast. Come sit on my lap.(she was sitting down)
Me: *takes a step forward*
HB: *pushes me* Go away!

Simple but effective push pull. It made me ponder about that move and it made me attracted to her even more. From then on, I understood the meaning and power of push pull.

at somepoint when she say somethign stupid, or u dont know hwo to answear
you:man we gonna get divorce, im keeping the cat, you can ge t the tv, (or if you remeber what she told you that she liked something, say that).
