Once you’ve had some time “in the game” you start picking up on a lot of little things you’ve missed. One of those things is the bumper a.k.a. pinger.

Basically a bumper or pinger is a woman who flirts with you in a direct, under the radar way by “accidentally” bumping into you again and again. Usually, her interest is high (and you’ve probably already missed her more subtle cues), but it is unacceptable for her to come right out and start hitting on you in front of her friends.

The contact can be arm to arm, or arm to leg, or she places her hand on your shoulder or whatever. In my personal experience this has happened to me the most at sporting events, but it also occurred at the movies, festivals, nightclubs and bars. Sometimes you can just go into a conversation and other times it is better to start up a little pinging game with her. Then watch her friend’s (when they fail to catch on) jaws drop as you whisper in her ear or go right in for a kiss.

So, what do you think about bumpers? Are they adorable or annoying?
