I`ve been watching this show Californication for a while now and I really like the main character-Hank. Yeah, it is onyl a tv-show, but in some scenes and generally if you look at his behaviour, it is kind a PUA.. What do you think?

Half the time he speaks to women he looks like he is about to fall asleep, he mumbles when he speaks and women say they want to fuck him before he even talks to them. This is nothing more than a male fantasy played out on a TV show.

Yes some of his lays are too easy but there's a hell of a lot to learn from Hank Moody though. Excellent push-pull, fearless, funny, charming yet indifferent. Some of his pick-ups are pretty textbook.

Yeah, I looked one up on youtube.. A short clip and it`s amazing, all things you said are done almost by the book :)

I also noticed this I think that's why I love the show so much now!
The main thing about him is that no matter how shit things get he still makes humour of the situation. He is definitely very alpha and has a sort of rockstar laid back vibe to him. Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half men is another good one to look at but in reality there is only so much you can take from a fictional character.

So true. Don't try to model a sociopathic womanizer who really has no sense of emotional value or connection, except maybe with his daughter (but that's because some writer thought that would be nice, I find that whole part where he is so caring for her to be kind of unrealistic).

What can you learn from him? His frame and confident, other than that, every other aspect of that character is bad for you.

It's a really good show.

Lesson to take from it is work on your identity, and confidence, and how he vibes with women.
