First of, Im very new at this. Always been the nice guy, girls ripping my heart out.
But a few days ago, I read something interesting. It was about a guy who contacted girls online and acted like a total dick. Commenting their appearence, behavior etc. And they totally fell for it.

I tried this myself online and I got MSN and numbers from most of the girls I tried this on. If they contacted me, Id say "Sorry, but I only talk to fun girls. Bye", and they where hooked.

However, I have a feeling that im out of balance. A girl wanted to send nude pics to me, and I acted all not-caring. After she sent some pics, I said "give me your number" to which she replied "oh here´s the typical give me your number guy" in a rather negative tone.
And as Im not 100% confident in what to do, I started to neg her even more, probably due to the fact that she gave some resistance and I chickened out.

Im also having a hard time with knowing when to actually give cred. Im "worried" that if I actually say "damn you are hot", "you seem fun" or whatever, they will see me as trying to pick them up. I want them to chase me, not the other way around. I used to be super nice, now Im kinda super douche instead.... After a few days of contact, I lose more of my edge and become more soft as it feels as though my rude attitude starts to lose its charm.

Ive been talking to a typical blond club-girl, who probably gets hit on alot. She was very keen on showing intellectual value when we started talking "Im actually quite nerdy, not the typical blonde idiot" etc. Ive been negging her looks and smarts like crazy, but not in a "you´re fucking ugly" but more "wearing too much make up, trying to hide something?"
Lately, she has been commenting on how she isn´t hot and what not. This kind of threw me off, because if I actually say that she is in fact super hot, will she see me as being the typical get-in-pants guy?

How much can I play hard to get, and actually get away with before the girl starts to lose interest? Should I keep up the hard attitude all the time and pretend to not give a shit, or should I show some acceptance from time to time?
