I am curious. I have read various PUA openers and my question is related to the so called Alpha Male. Supposed to be the guy who is not apologetic, doesnt work for the girls attention, just demands it, and pushes until he get her into bed or a slap on the face.... If thats truely using indirect openers lowers your value, because the girl must know your hitting on her but dont have the bottle to tell her. It doesnt seem to convey that you are a sexual guy who can do some damage... Am I right? Please give me your input? Plus, if direct is the only way to be alpha, how do you counter act the typical, brush offs?

direct is not the only way to be alpha. indirect is just as good as long as you portray the alpha qualities. gettin a slap on the face is blowing out a set, thats not what you should aim for. you dont "push a girl into bed" you make her feel like it was natural and it just happened at the moment. by the time you get her into the bedroom shes suppose to be attracted to you and feel comfortable with you. a good PUA displays his alpha male nature while doing that, and more.

You can be indirect and still be alpha.. think sexual innuendo it's more what your suggesting that the woman will pick up on. Sometimes being too direct doesn't work e.g when requesting sex but on the other hand talking about sex subtly in a cocky funny way would be much more effective in creatind attraction.

However if your in state and comfortable within your own body, direct game can be equally as effective.

IMO: Day Game (shops,gym,etc.): Direct is more effective
Night Game (bars,clubs,etc.): Indirect is more effective

Why?:Anyone can run direct game with fake confidence after drinking alcohol so most girls are being hit on all night by chodes with dutch courage. So an indirect tactical approach is more effective sometimes but not always, others may disagree.

Exactly what suave said. Being indirect doesn't not mean your a pussy and have no confidence, its safer. Direct will get you blown out of the water 10 times faster than indirect. A direct approach would be something simular to "god damn your cute, what's your name?" Which most girls have heard time and time again. In order for most direct game to work you need to portray social proof before entering the set. Indirect on the other hand, your can use false time constraints, like "hey I've only got a second but did you see..." But that's not all what indirect is about. the qualities you listed in the direct taking away forcing the girl into bed are qualities in general for getting women.

What I do is bounce between both direct and indirect. I'll approach the group, not the girl, and tell a couple funny stories, get them talking to me but turn it so I'm the center of that groups attention without looking like I tried anything. The girl will notice I shoot her down and go back to her friends, shell notice that and that right there shows alpha male qualities. I've been selected by her friends and I shot her down, I must have value, who the Fuck is this guy. Naturally shell keep trying and then when its you and her you turn to direct.

Like I just said in another thread, if done correctly it takes no work if you do the first set right. Your rhythm will build and the crowd will notice they were just kissing your ass, so you can move from group to group and groups will even start approaching you and your night is set to choose who you wanna go home with. It's pretty easy.
