Met this girl shortly before xmas and new year, so kind of a busy time for both of us. We were chatting for a while on facebook and as soon as we had time we went out for a coffee (YESTERDAY). We kissed and that's it. I wanted to take my time and not push it really hard since she is not a girl I want only to bring to bed.

My doubt is the following... I don't know if I should text her today or if I should wait some days more to text her something, leaving her wondering if I really enjoyed it or not. I wont have time anyway until next week to do something with her, so if I am to text her today should I makes plans already for next week or only wish her a good day or mention yesterday and let to make plans after few days?

P.S. I know some guys will tell me not to text but to call her, but in this case its the best option since she doesnt have good english and probably wont understand me well on the phone.

I usually leave a 1 or 2 day space before following up after a close, and 3 or 4 days before texting / calling for the first time.

But really, you're over thinking it. The idea behind waiting is to NOT be "desperate," but if you're posting on a forum about it, it becomes somewhat self-defeating. Relax and don't worry about it too much. Wait a while because you don't want to jump into things, because you're busy with other things, and because you want to explore other options. Don't wait with the mentality "I don't want to mess things up."

I would text/call her the next day, not waiting 3-4 days. Honestly, I do not quite get the "3-days rule". Many guys say they do not want to look desperatly, but I do not think you look desperately if you contact somebody the next day.

Actually, I had a discussion with a friend of mine (a girl) and she told me, what really looks desperatly- like when a guy told her that he loves her, after one coffee.
