Hey guys, I've been reading and posting some random things in here for the past few months. I have decided to finally make a huge change in my life this year in something that I have always struggled with: being social. I suck at talking. I'm not good at contributing to conversations, even frequently in a group of my good friends (depending on the topic and my mood). This clearly is a major problem for approaching and picking up women as well. I want to change the social aspect of my life and drastically increase my success with women. I struggle with keeping a conversation going, even if you were to say "Just say anything" I would still have a hard to coming up with something right on the spot, I want to fix this. I also want to pick up the witty comedy that I have heard thrown into examples. I want to be able to do this at any point, in any social interaction, not just with women. I have decided to make this change this year starting this week. I am going to go into noobie mission mode starting tomorrow and say hi to every random girl I see all day long, at work, at the gym, at my soccer game soccer. This is where I'm going to start! Any advice on creating social topics from nothing, or increasing and integrating my witty comedy into EVERY type of social interaction would be great!

So the day after my previous post I didn't do as well as I had hoped. I did smile and say hi to a few people but overall I wasn't too satisfied with myself, still uncomfortable.

Last night I went out with a group of friends that I never hang out with. One of them is a friend who is into pickup and wants to wing. I only did three sets but I was happy that I actually went out and talked to people I don't know. The experience could have been better though because I didn't feel like I was outside of my comfort zone. The first set I opened was this girl who I didn't know that met up with our group at the second bar. Turns out she was one of the dudes girlfriends who was with us. We just talked about random shit for about 10 minutes which I have no idea how I found stuff to say for that long. Second set there was three of us and we just straight up walked over to a booth with 2 girls sitting there and sat down. One of my friends left and it was just me and my wing. His girl didn't really seem into it and my wing was dropping the ball here but we were still in there. I notice a lot of mistakes I made (not talking to the other members of the group enough) but I kept a conversation with an HB8 going for a good 15 minutes. Final set was just a small interaction. We were in line to get pizza and we were talking about which tv show was better and I leaned over to the attractive girl in front of us and said "Which show is better archer or ... (can't remember other show)?" She lit right up and got into it.

Even though I didn't do much work last night I showed myself that I can hold a conversation with a stranger for 15 minutes and I am starting to get into a different mindset with talking to women and being social in general. I also noticed things I need to work on such as my kino escalation, teasing, humor but at least I got started.
