and it has nothing to do with being inhibited. I'm just uncordinated. I was at a bar the other night and danced for literally and hour and a half with this chick. I was the clumsiest person on the dance floor. I go zero rhythm. She likes me so she put up with it but I could tell she was frustrated so I took her to a corner to make out.

Is there a cure for having two left feet? Should I just stay away from the dance floor and concentrate on other aspects of pickup?

Practice makes perfect. Besides, dancing doesn't seem to be all that important in pickup, at least for you, so just concentrate on making out. Also, while making out with a girl, imagine a guy your age who's never got to do that, I bet that'll make it feel even better!

yes you can just "shuffle shuffle shuffle" your feet out of beat, and it is still ok and kinda fun for the girl, actually can wow her, if you do the inside and outside turn or the sweetheart/cuddle move from swing dancing. no rythm is required, you just move your hands and you just walk it. it still makes the girl pretty and dont matter if its out of beat. also if its a slow dance you can just next to a girl and hold her and thats enough. or often girls will lead themselves ll you have to do is keep your connection at the hands with her loose so her hands can freely rotate around yours. i recommend you find my earlier posts about solo dancing because i thought i could not dance but now i know i have been a talented solo dancer all along, and do feel and interpret the music and stay on the beat mostly, i taught myself. you just listen to music and sway back and forth for a few hours, do it every day and in several months you will have beat.

I don't care what anyone says, I am by leaps and bounds the worst dancer of all time. I've even had some female friends try to help me, and it just doesn't work. I end up laughing so hard at myself that I can't even learn from them. I'm 6'3" and I just feel like this tumbling mountain giant when I try to dance. So next time you're out on the dance floor and you're feeling nervous, just think: "At least I'm better than Snarg."

Thanks for the advice fellows. I'm not going to worry about it. I know chicks love dudes who can dance but I don't think they get too bummed out if they can't.

At least, that's what I'm going to tell myself.
