Hey all,
So NYE was incredible, and it was an absolute crap show so I don't remember anything after 10pm. The next day though, while I was on the train heading back home from the city, I saw this smoking hot girl (HB8.5) get on the train and sit down in the lower level (I was sitting upstairs with my buddies).
The upstairs and downstairs levels are continuous and you can see the bottom from the top, and vice versa. So anyway, my buddies and I were trying to piece together the night, and I could tell this girl downstairs was listening to some of our hilarious stories. So after the person sitting next to her got up at her stop, I decided I had to talk to her.
I couldn't think of anything clever to say so I sat down next to her and said 'My friends and I made a bet last night, to see who could make the most friends...so I just wanted to say hi, I'm Dave' (we actually did make that bet).
Afterwards we made some small talk and I made fun of her once or twice but she seemed kinda nervous. Turns out we have 30 or so mutual friends since she went to the same undergrad school I did. I wussed out and didn't ask for her number, but before I left I said something like: 'i saw you get on the train, and I knew i had to talk to you... so it was nice to meet you!'
And then I just walked away to go back upstairs. So anyway I sent her a facebook friend request a couple days later, and I'm assuming she'll stalk me a little so she'll probably like what she sees. One of my friends that was on the train with me posted this video up on my wall though (absolutely hilarious), along with the message 'You should have done this to pick up that cute girl on the train:'

Once she accepts my friend request, I was thinking of either sending her a message saying something like 'so how often do you get hit on while you're on the metra?'
OOOR I was thinking of just tagging her in that video my buddy posted on my wall, and saying something like "I'm not sure this would've worked... what do you think HB8.5?"
Sorry for the long story but I could really use some help!
