Or as some call them "January to-do lists"

Look, I'm sure with 2012 most of us have at least entertained some ideas on how to improve ourselves. So what were your resolutions, pickup related or not?

I have 3:

1. To save up $3k for my moving out fund. I am working on my student loans this week to reduce my monthly payments to a total where I could reach this after about 2 months at my job. That timeline also coincides with the end of my probationary period where I would discover whether I am being kept on permanently, which is obviously a huge issue as well.

2. To lose weight. I have been struggling with this for a while, though I am not obese or even unhealthy. I currently weight about 185, and I'd like to reach 175. I did some research yesterday/today, came up with a basic exercise regimen to start, and had my first workout today.

3. To close. I have been doing much better lately opening and talking to women, escalating, etc, but either my own fuckups or logistics have kept me from the close. That is one thing I will end this year, guaranteed.

I have two main goals.

1. Stop drinking.

I go out, end up drinking, but then completely lack calibration. Hoping to take this one seriously.

2. Train mma on a regular basis, rather than when i just feel like it :)

This is coming from a smart guy. Just push it and you'll get it.

Not sure if you are serious about this one, if you are kudos for you. What do you do, btw?

One of my own. It's on hold due to my job and master studies for now, and I plan to start training again.

1) Master the art of mental self-defense. I'm intent on no longer allowing people who are jealous of my own self-confidence and abilities to crack my calm by insisting that I listen to their advice and instructions that will end up making me less of an effective person.

2) Earn $100k or more.

3) Annihilate my debts and create a solid foundation for myself to build upon.

4) Resume coaching people, as it has been my biggest passion so far in life and I miss helping people who truly want to help themselves, like all you awesome folk!

Get better at singing and piano.

Work on several websites I have built.

Buy an investment property

Approach 10 women a week and track the results.

Essentially, it is more important to have a system than goals. A goal is having sex with a hot chick. A system is approaching 10 girls a week. You can focus on your inputs in a system and you can be consistent. With a goal your basically hoping for the best.

My resolutions aren't exactly New Years resolutions - it's kinda coincidental that I've got around to getting them down around this time.

The story is, I had a breakup a few weeks before Christmas. I knew it's time to do pickup. I've seen a beautiful girl with two of her friends and beautiful purple hair on her head on my Christmas shopping and I didn't dare to open, which made me realize I only know PUA theory and I don't go around practicing. This is what led to the resolution just a few days before NYE that I'll definitely do the things I wanted to do before, before I got into the relationship with this girl.

Now that I'm free, I want to get full successes instead of half-successes. Half-successes that filled my life last year.

I had a few girlfriends last year, and some of them lasted for a while, but I got introduced and helped out by a common friend - I want to get somebody off the street by myself, so to speak. I have another beginner PUA to practice with - and we wanna be successful.
Another half-success I was too satisfied with, is sex. I feel like heavy petting isn't enough anymore, now I will get a girl who will finally put out, while still being a challenge for me (no sluts). I want to get laid, but I want it to be a landmark in my life, an achievement.

Also, gym. I was a tall and very thin dude all my life, and I think it had a big impact on who I turned out to be. Bullies in childhood, seeing that anyone could beat me up if they really wanted to, seeing that my arms are the thinnest in the whole room, etc. I used to be proud from seeing a shadow on my pecs after a few weeks of pushups. Fuck that. In 2012, I'm lifting weights to gain some mass so I can finally tick this whole "being thin and weak" thing off from my life.

Kick me in the ass if you see me slacking off.

Thought I might as well add some of my own in here.

1) Master salsa dancing.

2) Put on a few pounds of muscle this year. Last few years I have spent most of my time losing weight.

3) Continue making good grades.

4) Put some effort into making a social circle that I truly like.
