I have this idea that PUA is the key to any lock. Is it always effective though? I mean, I saw this HB 9 on Facebook, she had about a thousand friends, most of which are guys. From what I saw, she regularly gets random guys adding her too. I assume 80% of them are average guys (no competition), the rest may be naturals (possible competition). A good number of them are hotter than me.

Say I decided to give it a shot. I've been doing it lately with other girls and was successful; never with a girl as popular as her though. I'm good with PUA now, but would I be successful? Is PUA that good? Would I manage to wipe out all that competition?

I'm asking cause I'm trying to understand the more inner dimensions of this business.

PUA is not a switch. You do not become a PUA after x hours in the field (and I guarantee you have not reached what that number would be, because you're asking this question).

If you were to try to get with this girl, you would send her some stupid message on facebook, she gets plenty of them, and she would have no respect for you for the rest of your life.

And trust me, there is plenty of competition out there. There are guys who have game, naturals or other people who thought to look up "pick up artist forum" on google. Many of these "pick up artists" are unmotivated, weak hobbyists. They won't get anywhere, don't be one of them. Some others go out and bare themselves to rejection again and again, and communities like this one continue to offer guidance. Those are the ones that are successful.

It's not a business, this is about your life.

Grow a pair and meet a girl like her in the real world. PUA is a way of life, a way of thinking, a way of being. You never reach the end, there is always the learning. PUA is strong enough to beat all competition, that is not the question. The real question is: are you strong enough to do it?

Good point, but surely you do reach the end, if/when you score with a stunningly beautiful HB10 whose personality is a perfect match for you, and you both fall in love and end up marrying? After all, that is the ultimate goal of the whole flirting scene.

That's not the ultimate goal. Every guy has their own goal. Some guys want marriage, some want to party it up until they die, some just want to have more confidence in themselves. The whole point of pickup is just that you aren't terrified of women anymore, or try to impress them, or cling to them like a damn tick.
