First, happy new year to you all!

I think I am facing a very difficult shit test from the girl I like. She likes to compare me with some very handsome and famous men (e.g. Brad Pitt). She even shows photos of those men to me and joke that "there is no comparison". I mean, of course I am not Brad Pitt, but she is no Angelina Jolie as well!
Is this some sort of shit test? How can I react to this effectively? I surely can't say I'm a better man compared to Brad Pitt, but getting pissed off isn't a good response either.

It sounds like she is just teasing you but teasing someone on their looks is just plain not cool. I would wonder what kind of person she is to do such a thing, frankly she sounds like a bit of a bitch. Are you sure you want to get involved with a person who is constantly putting you down?

Next time she does this, if she does it again just respond by being overtly cocky.

This is the best way to show her it doesn't bother you and more importantly it shows that you are confident in your own attractiveness which is essential to appearing confident and sexy.

If someone was selling you a car which they overtly believed to be a shit car, then you would be reluctant to buy it wouldn't you? The same goes for selling yourself, if you consistently believe that you are God's gift to women, other people might start to believe it also.

I'm sure that's not a compliment, as I'm not handsome at all and even if I am, it would not be comparable to a movie star. She is teasing me and joking about it.

What I suspect is that she is trying to lower my value by this "movie star" comparing thing. By not responding (ignoring her) or "letting go", she may see me as a weak guy as I admit "defeat" (that I can be inferior to someone). My cocky and funny image would be severely challenged.
However if I appear cocky and say "Brad Pitt is nothing, I'm better than him", it certainly is not the truth and she may think I'm some pathetic and crazy narcissist and is tempted to tease me even more.

I agree the girl is occasionally bitchy, but she is overall pretty nice. It is natural for beautiful women to shit test men, but this one is just a bit mean and too tough to handle....
