I honestly like the idea of direct game but from the things I've read it seems very high pressure and it'll almost end up serious all the time. I like teasing women and general light hearted conversation. How does one tailor a direct approach to not be so highly sexual so fast. ( I know it sounds weird but yea)

Look up "sasha pua" on youtube. He has a great video showing successes and failures, and he uses exclusively light hearted direct game.

Direct game is best if you are very good looking, the kind of guy that gets a ton of IOI's from women. Direct game is basically just going over and stating your intentions early on e.g. "“Hi, I cant stay long because im on my way to meet friends but I thought you looked cute and I wanted to come over and say hi. So hi im "your name"”. A lot of people say direct game is AFC but I disagree, if said with confidence and charm it can look very alpha IMO, you are someone who knows what he wants and isnt afraid to go after it.

Genuinely arrogant in most aspects of life but my stubbornness has left me deficient in some social areas (like I refused to talk to women on the phone and relegated them to text buddies until I wanted something) I don't approach as must as I did when I was younger because gettin cooch online was way easier. I've hooked up with plenty of girls using direct game. If I use indirect I usually hit a wall after awhile and fuck it up. I spend too much time thinking of what to say next or looking for IOI's or all of that non-sense.

With direct game I just lay it out there, go heavy on the kino, act like I dont give a fuck and just try to get to know the girl/build comfort. Sometimes I strike out right away but I can tell in some instances that the girl appreciated my bluntness. I think that most girls, especially really hot ones, arent use to some guy being so direct and thats what works in your favor.

Another great advantage is that it saves a lot of time and puts you in a very powerful position if the girl is interested.

Sorry dude, that is plain bullshit. I know one dude. its safe to say that he will never be mister hugo boss. He has this red spot on the right side of his eye/face. Direct game is about honesty, towards yourself and toward the other. It is about having the balls to go for what you want. Direct game made its name because of the heavy language that is used. But that is not the key in direct game. The point is that you make clear from the start what it is you want. You can write it down on a piece of paper, and just push it under her nose without saying a word.

There is room for lighthearted conversation in direct game. Just make sure mate that you state what you want. otherwise its just confusing.

I can give an example. its not the best, because i am in a relationship and i dont intend to cheat: i recently met this girl. I approached and told her that i thought she is very sexy. Totally my thing. So we started going sex talk, until i said: (translated freely, because it is a bit different in my mother tongue),
-you surprise me, cause you look like such a good girl. A bit of a Horny Mary...(break)...i mean Holy Mary.
She looked at me with a bit of suspect, until she replied:
- But i am! Sometimes out of the blue, i get wet...(break) eyes from spontanous tears.
She caught my drift, from that point the conversation was meaningless for third persons. at one point i just blatantly said: i wanna do you hard. She was waiting for the: 'i mean blablalba'. It didnt came, she smiled and i just blinked with my one eye.

Its not bullshit, how can being better looking not be an advantage in direct game? There seems to be this myth that looks dont matter, looks do matter especially in direct game because the girl has very little else to judge you on if you are being direct. So what if you know one average looking guy who is good at direct game, who the fuck cares that doesnt mean anything, there is usually an exception to every rule. Who do you think is going to have more success using direct game, a guy that looks like Brad Pitt or a guy that looks like John Lovitz?

Being a good looking guy helps you a lot in direct game.. In my opinion, if you are a good looking guy, the best thing for you is direct game. But even if you aren`t, it`s all about delivery man. You`ll get blown out way more often and sooner too than in the "usual" game. And that`s the good part. Speaking for myself, I`m nooot a good looking guy and when I said to my wing that I will start with a direct approaches, he wasn`t thrilled. And at first, it really sucked. this is a little bit silly this argument about looks and direct and indirect, if your looks are bad your looks are bad, if you are good looking you are good looking,

a good looking guy will get better results with both indirect and direct, the method wont get you more or less success based on looks, your personality will always shine through if your direct or indirect, and if you have a fragile ego and are not very good looking, indirect makes you feel like you are not getting rejected because you actually have sets open and girls give you their numbers (but they usually end up flake or LJBF), with direct instead of getting indirectly rejected (see previous brackets for details), you get directly rejected, and that saves time, because what would you rather want, a girl who you basically force into a conversation with you using social laws and tactics to allow yourself to have a long convo with enough time to demonstrate that your a cool guy, only to have her give her number and lead you on/waste your time as long as you allow it, because she is a girl and can't be mean to someone who was never mean to her and seemed cool?, or would you rather just go up and tell the truth?, and know right away if she is into you, if there is nothing there get that rejection right away within minutes, your time is not wasted and you can immediately move onto another girl who is actually worth the time and effort

now to break down direct game from my point of view, it is simply knowing what you want, and expressing it, it isn't just walking up to someone and saying they are cute, you could just tell someone to pass you the salt, if that is what you wanted, you just were direct with that person, if you walk up to a girl and she is playing with a yoyo and you think, damn I haven't played with a yoyo in years I love yoyos, then you say damn I haven't played with a yoyo in years I love yoyos, you just were direct with that person, if you are approaching a girl because she is hot and you want to meet her because she is hot... you get the point, you don't want a per-planned opinion with 10 hours of scripted acting (indirect), you just be yourself, and tell the truth about what is on your mind that you want, free from gaining their approval, free from an expectation from other people, just pure self expression without censorship based on what other people want

The looks debate is irrelevant. Yes, better looking men tend to get better results, but that could also be because they act more confident, knowing that they're good looking. A mediocre looking man can get equally good results with both indirect/direct game, especially if he minimizes his disadvantage by dressing well and having a good physique. Ultimately there's no point in arguing this, it doesn't get anyone anywhere.

As for direct game, it has three distinct advantages

(a) Allows you to establish state control easily. You are automatically the dominant leader of the conversation (assuming you pulled it off right), and she has already witnessed the massive weight of your balls.

(b) It allows you to screen out uninterested women quickly. The blowout is never the enemy, the 30-minute pickup that goes nowhere is the enemy. You don't waste time and emotional input when you get rejected in 5 seconds, you waste time and emotional input when you spend weeks regaling the same girl.

(c) Gets rid of approach anxiety. You learn how to function under pressure, which betters your ability to handle shit tests and all the hurdles that women are compelled to throw at you.

With these advantages however, there comes an obvious number of caveats. For example,

(1) You have less plausible deniability. You can establish it, but it will be harder to build. Before anyone lashes out and says, "girls always know what you're up to," YES but they always prefer to retain PD.

(2) If you get blown out of sets continuously at a club, girls WILL eventually notice, and it WILL eventually affect your game. You can do 20+ approaches if your game has the subtext of "being friendly" but if you're coming onto every chick with guns blazing, a bit of desperation will eventually be noticed.

(3) There's a greater chance she will reject if you if you activate her anti-slut defense, especially if her friends are around. No girl wants to come off as too easy, and she will inevitably think "am I the 10th girl he's saying this to?" Be prepared for "you're a player" shit tests.

All in all, I think it's more a matter of taste. Personally I've noticed a correlation between Alphaness / preceding social proof and direct game. I imagine because once guys have that untouchable confidence that accompanies leadership and boat-loads of pussy, they see no point in wasting their time with finding back channels to vagina. One of my friends conferred that he always uses direct game / does prostitutes because he would rather be spending his time getting something done than wasting it on anything below an HB9.

On the other hand, most of the best PUAs I know (who have game but not tangible social prof) prefer NOT to do direct openers because they'd rather rely on their superior game + they've gotten so good that they see no reason to face rejection due to random variables.
