Is MM a good place to start for a complete beginner? I saw a post where a guy was trying to neg a girl and she started busting him for using MM. With shows like The Pickup Artist, how likely is it for that to happen in the field?

It's overpopularized, and it's pretty hard to learn. Read the books, but it's not good for pickup, especially not if you are a beginner.
Look up SimplePickup on youtube - they have awesome videos which show it can be done much more simply.

good place to start is vin dicarlo the attraction code, also david dangelo double your dating(but do not use his lines or routines they are weak), once you have some success then 60 yoc

I would strongly recommend Adam Lyons Understand Attraction. His material is a lot easier to learn and gives you room to mould it around your own personality while at the same time focusing on the fundamental basics of game.

Definitely The Attraction Code by Vin Di Carlo, its all you need. You can follow up by Pandora's Box, also by Vin Di Carlo, but the latter doesn't teach pick up, its more about the types of women.

Not only that but just how attracting women works in general. I mean the funny thing is before I even found out about the community a lot of this stuff I was doing already. I would watch movies or ask people about their relationships and found common themes within them.

Then I found out about the community and everything I was analyzing on my own was already being studied and written about.


As far as people knowing about this stuff, I don't think it is THAT common...I have run pure mm on some girls and number close with ease. I love reading all of this and listening to lectures. I'd say MM is a great place to start


Also, read The Game and a lot of the books mentioned in there get them...Although i'm not big into the NLP stuff, I am reading The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene and Sperm Wars as well as a bunch of other PU stuff.


I think the other poster who said a great way to start is to go out and talk to people hit the nail on the head. All of this stuff doesn't work if you don't go out and put it into practice...the guy with no game who goes out and sarges all day will probably get laid a lot quicker than the guy who reads PU all day and never ever puts it to use.

Mystery method is like riding a bike 20 miles to work every day. Sure, it will get you there but there are faster and more efficient ways to get to work. You can take a bus, a cab, or perhaps drive yourself. With those options available... why take a bike?

Now a days there are much better stuff out there than mystery method. I whole heartily recommend "Complete Game System" by 60YearsOfChallenge.
