Yeah, this is clearly in your head. You've got to stand up to your sister. She's bothered by the possibility of you hooking up with her friends, and you have to find a way to confront her with that truth.

You can confront her privately. Tell her she's a total bitch to you when she's with her friends and want to know why. That will make her very self-conscious about it the next time it happens, and maybe she bites her tongue.

But if you really want to be a boss, call her on it when the friends are there. You can completely ignore your sister, as if she's invisible, talking directly to the friends. Mainly, you need to demonstrate in a vivid way how completely unaffected you are by her little digs. If you can do that, her friends will go wild for you. Because there's something dangerous and exciting to them about getting with a friend's brother.

Just to build on my post ^ above, here's a more specific idea that has worked with my sister's friends:

When she makes a smartass remark to undermine you while you're talking, stop. Then look at her as if you didn't even realize she was in the room. (Everyone will freeze and get vaguely uncomfortable in the moment when you stare at her.) Then look back at the friends and say, "Anyway, as I was saying..."

Talk directly to the friends, and don't let your sister take their attention back. After your sister undermines you, ask the friend, "Hey, can you be my sister instead?" Put your arm around the friend and ask the others, "Do we look like we could be related? We're both beautiful, right?"

yea it could be jealousy, i've just spent the New Years Eve with my sister in the same house and when I was talking to her friends I ignored her and she was continually trying to qualify herself afterwards even to her friends.

Theres another part to gaming sisters friends----if you were sucessful and laid one of them then didnt want her around anymore it would be almost impossible to get rid of her--it would be like shitting on your own doorstep and every time you cleaned it away it would reappear

1) Don't show that you care what your sister says and thinks
2) Say positive comments that make your sister look mean
3) Flirt with her friends by making them feel sorry for you because of the flack your getting from your sister

Then she'll stop C.Bing and you can move foward from this dilema .
