Hey guys.
So there's this irish girl from work, she's attractive but not amazing; not one that I imagine gets loads of attention from guys.. I just love her personality. she's playing pretty hard to get with me though.

We banter all the time and are always making jokes, I think i'm pretty much in the friend zone right now to be honest. So i've been trying to flirt with her a bit, she's an irish girl so I like to make jokes about drinking etc, which she always cracks up about and i like to poke her in the side and make her jump, stuff like that, being playful, and she loves that.

And we get on really well, got some stuff in common etc, whenever I see her we always smile at each other. But I tried asking her out for a drink and she was a little off and then said she'd think about it. And tried asking her out for dinner one night when she said she had nothing in, (so was fairly casual) but again she went off with me. I then left it for a while, ignored her a bit and then she started investing in me more cos she obviously thought i'd lost interest as i'd normally be flirting with her. (the reaction i wanted)

Anyway, we're now back to the stage we were at before, just playing around, making jokes etc. She's been saying a couple of things lately like "this year will be the first year i wont get a present from a boyfriend" so I was like "looks like i'm your only hope before xmas.." and she laughed. so I'm wondering whether this is a sign she wants a boyfriend again?

Do you think I should ask her out again? even though she was off the last time?
I also have her number, I don't know whether I should I text her?

What do you think I should ask her...?

Thanks for your time! :)

P.S - We're both 18 and I have a car. It would most likely need to be an evening date as we both work quite alot.

Alright dude. Sounds like you need to hear about the String Cat Theory (or something like that). You know how a cat looses interest in a string as soon as they get it? Its there but its... boring. The same rule applies here. You have to keep that HB in line by making yourself not so easy. So how are you going to do this?

I would go up to her and say something like "Damnit! I have two tickets to the movies but my friend is totally busy... wanna tag along?" Then shell be like yes/no/maybe. If she says yes or maybe say "Cool, (give the time and shit specifications)" If she says no, you gotta punish her! Say "Alright I'll go see if (some random girl) can go" then walk away.

Keep trying dude.
