there was a girl in my class that i never paid attention to. she always laughed at my jokes....she asked questions about my personal life...she was interested.
for 16 weeks of class, I did not realize that i like her...i just never thought about her.

but today was the last day of class and i realized I like her personality and we would make a great couple. now why do i say i am an idiot? because this always seems to happen to me. I always fantasize about some girl all semester and then the last day of class i realize i like someone else. but then its too late because its the last of of class. it happens to me a lot.

I have her email address. I can get her phone no. through a friend of hers, but i think that would be creepy.
should i email her?
this is my email, is it ok:

"hi (name)
this is (my name) from your class...today you left so quickly I didnt get a chance to talk to you. I want to get to know you more, let's meet up some time."
is this ok?

Sounds like your writing a formal letter to your boss, not your future girlfriend. Remember who your writing to.
Also sounds like your letting a desperate effect take you, you never notice a girl till shes gone and that's when you want them. I would work on looking at the girl and thinking "if I saw her everyday for the next 6 months would I still be happy to see her the next day?" (if your looking for LTR ofc)
I don't suggest getting her number through a friend so your right about that part though.
Make your E-mail to her something personal and unique, she probly gets e-mails everyday from 5 different guys sending her the exact same thing you wrote

can you give me an example of personal and unique? I think she likes me already so i dont see a reason to impress her with something special.
can i just say a little about her personality so you guys know what kind of girl i am talking about...she is very polite...she doesnt say "Fuck" she says "the F word"
she is very nice...she is not HOT...she looks very simple and wears little to no make-up. one time she was on her laptop and i was staring at her screen and I said "are you writing about me?" she said "no! stop being creeeepy!"and punched me in the arm...i really liked this reaction. she is so cute, she really gets my sense of humor.

if you have interacted with a lot of girls, you probably know what kind of girl i am talking about.

just go ahead and write her.. be your creepy self, she's been around you too long and might not like it if u try to fake something. you had good reason not to start something too soon; it's often better not to be in the same class or on the same job as your lover.

Well that's the thing, she's been around him for 16 weeks and obviously doesn't like where this is going, he's not 'faking' anything the e-mail has to come from him and his mind. I don't recommend being purposefully creepy, no girls likes a stalker, even if after a week he meets her and says "i was just kidding you know..." (for example).
If you think she likes you already just send her the first e-mail you wrote, I would just change the "this is (my name) from your class" to "this is (my name)". If she likes you she would remember you, if you don't think she'll remember you from just your name then she doesn't like you enough for that e-mail

i just have a quick question. should i add "here is my number" or "email back" or leave it at "lets meet up some time"

If you think she likes you enough then you don't tell her to do anything, if she really wants you she'll e-mail you back by herself. I'd just leave it at "let's meet up some time" because "here is my number" or "e-mail back" are the things you say when your starting to build attraction.
