Sometimes my favorite opener is just to use a direct approach like, "hey, sorry to interupt you but you seem like you have a nice energy and I just had to meet you". Then go into whatever. This is a pretty sure default opener you can internalize in case your mind goes blank or you forget or just don't know what to say. Any other direct approach openers you'd like to add to the list?
