Ok so you dated her and then got her #?

sounds to me it wasnt a first date but the first time you two met. With that regard yeah i can see how she would keep her barrier up. Respect it. If you like her enough you will continue to pursue it. She thinks this way. so make your decision and stick to it. Chances are second date you will kiss her if everything clicks.

I personally respect a girl with boundaries, come three years down the road if your still in a relationship with her, you know shes not a ho and is less likely to cheat on you.

Exactly. Not sure why people make such a big deal out of this (I'm looking at most of you who posted in the latter half of the first page of this topic). I'm not sure what the big rush to kiss her really is. If you're that afraid of getting friend zoned or whatever after the first date, maybe you need to work on your self confidence a bit.
