I met this girl at the bar, HB9, could be even HB10, seriously, she was hot. I saw her giving me looks, smiles etc. Even my wing was telling me that she was staring at me while I was talking to a 2set! (pre-selection) So, attraction should be there (I'm new, lol) We exchanged looks, smiles and after like 5 minutes I approached her. I used an indirect opener (opinion) and I totally blew it!

So, if there is already an attraction going on, should I still use an indirect opener, or should I use a direct one? and then into DHV?

If there is already initial attraction like that best to go direct. Even with an indirect opener she's gonna know you like her. Might as well just go for it. At that point attraction is fairly assumed. I'd do a few DHV spikes to just make sure things were good but I wouldn't go overboard.

Indirect openers are usually used to fly under the radar, the radar that look for "he want's something from me".
exchanging smiles and looks for 5min is too long, unless you've been already busy opening other women.
So she knows you're interested, you know she's interested... in this situation you should have used a direct opener or a disqualification opener to show her that you don't like her that much and she need to win you over.
so probably the best opener to use is

"Are you shy or something? Because I've been standing here for around ten minutes and you still haven't said Hi to me." Credit to DeAngelo.

"Do you always smile and wink at everyone or only the hot guys?" I made that up, use it at your own risk. for me? it suits my playful personality and rarely come across as too cocky and barging.

and always try to flip things around and make it as if she's hitting on you, she already indicated her attraction.

As Gambler taught, if you are in a situation where she smiles or gives a playful look you can give a smirky smile or something like that and go over and ask "Hey how have you been?". It works while approaching a group too cause then they think you know her. Anyway, you don't even need to isolate in your situation, just pure escalation from start. She already smiled/observed at you so attraction is there and this should give you confidence to ge strong.

I agree with this! She is looking for the alpha male to lead and take charge!
