I always get into situations like these, and i'm stuck in the Opening phase, you may also notice that i may appear a little needy at the end, that's because it already dead i guess, and i coudn't get a girl to open up and say more then just short answers, get her intrested and manage to get that hook point.

Me: Do you always talk to strangers?
Her: *smile* no, why? i don't know you!
Me: What you're saying is contradictory, you're talking to me right now. and i don't know you eather.
HB: *laugh*
Me: pick a number from 1 to 6
HB: why?
Me: i can figure out your adress from it to go steal your house at night. no seriously just pick a number i'll tell you what for.
HB: Okay, ... 5
Me: oh you must like slow music, i was stuck on picking one of my fav 6 as a ringtone.
HB: *laugh* which one i chose?
Me: *song name*, but it doesn't suit as a ringtone, you're not good at picking the right songs.
HB: *laugh*
(here i'm stuck in my head looking for a way to raise intrest, BAD! but it's my stiking point)
Me: I just met you and you start picking a ringtone for my phone, who are you?
HB: *pokerface* I didn't pick.
(me looking at the phone)
Me: oh oh, don't tell me you want the other 5 songs name also?!!
Hb: as you like.
Me: nah i already chose one.
Hb: which one?
Me: can't tell you *wink*

I stopped their and walked away, i have to be say that this is happening and i'm having all those AFC feelings that i managed to hide, but i coudn't game any further, i thought by practicing i will get over it but it's still the same thing.
This is really weird because i never get handicapped by AA, i totally control it, but then it seems that i'm looking for escape , it seems i'm the one shooting my foot by myself, maybe because i was thinking conversation will go awkward after then, and yes it will.

Any pointers?

Edit: It usually happens to me when i get any IOD, disqualification or unintrested way of talking or answering. in this situation it's right here:
Me: I just met you and you start picking a ringtone for my phone, who are you?
HB: *pokerface* I didn't pick.
