is dressing like you are ACTUALLY a lumberjack a bad idea for the newbie mission?

consider this outfit:

heavy pendleton shirt
work-looking jeans
real-looking work boots
polo shirt under pendleton
2 day shadow

BUT!

with very shiny expensive and real watch
everything very clean

in other words, like you are right out of a sears outdoor workwear or dickies catalog?

if i think about what I look like, I might as well come off the docks or out of prison. kind of intimidating at 6'1" 225lbs right? or is that all wrong?

is this bad or good for a newbie exercise?

Hahaha,

Yeah maybe don't go for the "I just got out of prison" look. You are tall and a rugged look may freak out girls when you approach. Do you normally dress like this?

Unfortunately, yes I must admit I do. I just got out of a LTR and I spend most of my time working on my cars or fabricating crap in my garage so I wear functional stuff. HMM.

I am WAY out of touch with all this, its been a long time.

BUT: I do think I get more favorable IOI's when I dress as ruggedly and messedly as possible, i.e. when I REALLY dont give a crap and have bed hair, grease everywhere from working on cars, and show up at autozone or lowes.
Of course, I could be crazy as my radar for this is not certified yet and unproven. And it may simply be more favorable than my normal "casual" wear, which is extremely boring, and if I actually tried dressing up it might be way better.

Crap, I dont want to have any excuse or delay for my newbie mission, and coming up with a whole new look is an excuse. Maybe I can find a way to tone it down but not look so boring in my usual dad-jeans and a blah polo shirt.

I'm assuming you are naturally handsome due to the IOI comment. This happens because you are projecting a "bad boy" image with your look. You are the forbidden fruit lol. They see you and are intriqued by the manliness. It's a fantasy most women have in there head.

Anyways, if you will be doing approaches, try out your look and see how the girls react. If you are having bad reactions from the get go, then you know it's appearance based or your initial confidence level while opening. If you go do night game I suggest actually picking up some nice cloths.
