The fact of the matter is, you can still get with girls blatantly ignoring all advice out there from these pick up communities, it's absurd

There are so many ideas out on this forum that I just ignore

I buy girls drinks --> doesn't make a difference
My opener is hi i'm ____ --> she opens up nearly every time
I don't talk very loudly --> she qualifies herself for not being able to hear me
I'm never over the top energetic jumping around unless i'm trying to be --> makes no difference, girls still stay near me
I ignore the friend and just talk to the girl --> friend leaves
"cockblock" comes in to rescue friend --> leads to me hooking up with cockblock


To be honest...i got better by unlearning so much of this community stuff

Like:
Trying to be alpha --> makes me not give her what she's basically asking for [dance, makeout, pull, etc]..the whole alpha thing put me in the mindset, no you don't choose, I do. Stupid

Cocky & Funny or Trying to be witty --> girl just thinks i'm a asshole when i try to be cocky or cool

Lines/hooks --> thinking about them makes them come off weirdly and then you start thinking more and screws you over

Cavemanning --> girl just freaks out

Asserting dominance over other people --> makes group want you to get the hell out

There's more I just can't think of the stuff now

Vibing
Occasional teasing
Being close to one another
some touching, but not awkward touching...i dont even think about the touching it just happens
Being a nice guy
Self-Deprecating humor
Qualifying her before the kiss and pull

Okay and before I get objections...I do go to one of the best universities in the country, okay at first i did casually just wear a hat of that school going out because it would lead to girls opening up immediately. Eventually i dropped the school attire, and realized no difference. the other thing is I do dress preppy and the clothes i wear is rather expensive, dropped that, no difference. Then i dropped my watch, still no difference. Decide to grow out facial hair, wear glasses, no difference. Not drink, no difference. Because a dumb drunk, no difference. I do get the you're cute thing a lot from girls, but i don't really find myself all that good looking comparatively. Yes all guys my age think they are above average in looks, i would say that too, but still again everyone things that. I'm in shape but by no means do i have abs or huge muscles and stuff. I have a slight beer belly and am a lanky dude who's 5'7


it's the difference between trying and just being normal

It's great that you can get girls this way, It just goes to show how many paths there are in pick up and how Do's and Don'ts aren't an effective way of looking at it.

But it is also funny when you say your game boils down to those list of things, yet they can all be portrayed from the things you don't do. There are many paradoxes that confused people who are looking for a do and don't solution

To be honest all pick up has done is destroy my social skills and acuity. At first I was under the impression oh they must be right what i do is wrong blah blah...and it wasn't working very consistently and i felt i was doing better before

there was just too much micromanaging done once i learned about all of this stuff

also it made me develop AA thinking about value and all of that crap all the time

Nothing in Pick up is a 'must do' so to speak. It's all your choice in the end of how you want to go about things.
