ok so in posts ive read before in mentions of opening with a question that goes something like
"hey i need a females opininion on something! so my friend has a girlfriend who cheats on him, i feel bad telling him but do you think he deserves to know?"
personally ive never used something like this, how should i use something like this? And where should i go with it?

This is a classic cold approach method where you use an opinion opener to kick start
a conversation. I use this during mall game/downtown as a method for getting out of
approach anxiety. Follow the 3 second rule: walk in and smile within 3 seconds and
use this opener and let it flow. Whatever happens doesn't matter because you are
just trying to open and gain social confidence.
