I posted an article recently about whether to smile or not and how it can change things.. I have noticed that around guy I dont know, I always look a bit moody and guys are always trying to talk to me like they want to be friends etc.
It's like, I'm not interested in talking to you - so they want to find out what I'm about.
The truth is im not always as confident as I should be, but its ok and doesnt really matter - I'm straight.

With girls, I have probably been smiling too much. No real challenge for them etc..

Last Saturday, I went out with some friends to a club, got chatting to a girl in the crowd and made a note NOT to smile. She laughed, I kept a straight face.. she tripped up - my face didnt move. As I did this, I automatically felt the more confident side in me surface.. it was weird. I know I have that more dominant side and it was like not similing allowed it to come out.

End of the night?.. I took her home and fucked her. This does not happen very often at all.

I just wanted to share the experience.

smiling, laughter, being funny shows you're happy, positive, good in life with friends and family.
and the idea of those shows confidence.(but not only)

the fact that you didnt smile was not the point but the fact that you were fun.

Maybe the following is true..

Maybe its good to show the qualities as you have described during the evening, but dont smile so much when talking to a girl?..

smiling, laughing, when the situation genuinely and naturally calls for it: OK

smiling, laughing, just to ease tension: not OK

haha, i'd hate to be the guy that never smiles or laughs, lol

actually, i am always laughing, but it's not because i'm nervous, it's because i am constantly fucking around and cracking jokes.

in fact, i laugh unrepentently and chicks dig it.

If you're smiling and laughing because you think she wants that. Then that's not a good idea.

If you're smiling and laughing so things aren't awkward, it's not going to be a good idea either.

If you're genuinely smiling and laughing because you think what you said or what she said is funny, i think that's always a good think
