Just go nuts man.Myself,i start counting loud from 1 to 1000 or say the alphabet from A to Z.Or say my grandad`s poem:
`Ugly plate,oh ugly plate
My tiny dickie made of chocolate
If it was made of candy,
It would`ve been ate by your granny.`

This gets a good laugh.Just be playful and the rest will come ;)

Running out of things to say doesn't mean your stupid or can't think of anything, a lot of the time its nature saying "If you keep talking you'll screw up and waste your time, get her number now before you get FZ'd"
