Day game for a working girl.... No really, she's at work


It's difficult sometimes to game someone who's at work because they're mindset is not right. You are the customer or consumer, and they are paid to help and talk to you. The good news is you don't have to worry about opening, because she will talk to you.

I like to start talking to them about work for about 3 sentences, and then shift. Here's an example:

Me: So I was just wondering WHY you do your job?...
Her: (May take it as a harsh neg at first) What do you mean?
Me: I mean, do you do it for the money, or do you really enjoy (cutting hair, answering phones. Fill in)

Now she has to go one of two ways:

1st way: Haha, no! I just do it for the money. I mean, I don't mind my job, but yeah, it's for the money.

2nd way: Actually yeah, I love my job!

Most of the time with receptionists or cashiers, you'll get the 1st response. Nobody makes a career out of being a cashier, most of the time.

So, if we assume that she responds the first way, I say something like, "Yeah, I could totally see that in your eyes before I even asked. So what are you really passionate about then?"

That last question does a couple of things. First, it gets her mind off of work, which she is dying to get away from anyway; Remember? she's only doing it for the money. Second, it gets her to open up and let you dig deeper than the usual chit chat she has every 30 seconds with a new customer, creating an emotional investment for her. Third, I've found this question makes women feel like they have to DHV to me from this position. They are thinking, "Oh no, he thinks I'm shallow now because I only do my job for money, I have to show him I actually do have a deeper meaning." And she spirals downward into an emotional state where she is captivated because you are the prize. Getting the number close and setting up day 2 comes after you talk to her about her passionate subject and build attraction.

One last thing, this technique works as long as you don't neg before she's talking about her chosen passionate subject. If you do neg her before that, she may just think you are another asshole customer who's giving her hell. Once she feels she's redeemed herself and says something bitchy, then neg. Just repeating the principle, Let her earn the right to be hit on.

This I took from Gambler's stealth attraction and made slight changes to adjust for day game and a girl who is at work. Field tested a couple of times successfully, but I would like you guys to give some feedback and field test this. Let me know what you think.

Pretty good stuff. Here are some of my personal pointers:

1- If youre trying to game a girl that is working at a pharmacy/coffe shop/ supermarket/ clothing store/ etc... keep in mind that she probably works there at least 5 days a week, so no need to rush on a n/c cause she will be there on the next day, so take it easy!

2- Any job becomes a routine, so break it! Something i use all the time is, when they ask me "can i help you?" i say "sure, can i use your employee discount?" or "im fine, thanks... but i can help you! just pretend youre helping me with this and you get a 2 minute break from your routine (and ask something)". My last "line" at a supermarket is this: i saw this girl restocking, i grabbed a box of cerials i had in my cart, i go next to her and i go "did you know that each serving of this cerial has ### calories?... you just learned something today!" ... Then i told her that i watched an episode of The Biggest Looser and now i developed this curiosity to look at the nutrition facts.". Develop from there into a "normal" convo. Keep in mind not to spend more than 3 minutes talking.

3- After i see her at her job for like 3 times, i go "everytime i come here youre working! You dont have a day off?" ... follow with asking something like "just out of curiosity, what do you do on your day off besides sleeping and normal duties?". Now you know what she does, its easier to suggest something for you guys to do.

I would suggest that asking about why she works there is too severe a neg. It's also too intimate a question to take from a complete stranger who's also a customer. You're putting her in a pretty awkward position.

Brian makes some excellent points about not being in a rush. You can afford to build comfort slowly, a little bit on each visit.

But my advice is to practice your nonverbal game. I'm doing this with an adorable girl who clerks at my grocery store. She says, "How are you?" when I arrive, as she does with every customer, except I look her in the eyes for one second before slowly saying, "I'm doing fine. How are you?" With the slightest trace of a sly smile on my face.

Because women are so adept at sensing attraction, she'll know exactly what you're communicating, and you can gauge her response.

e.g. In my case, the clerk blushed a little. And a moment later, she teased me about the groceries I was buying. Total IOI. I teased her back about being bad at bagging. And she blushed again.

I know these seem like tiny things, but sexual tension is so unexpected, so shocking, and such a welcome a relief from the tedium of her job, that she's liable to be very receptive.
