Ok so I had another shorted attempt tonight. Girl backs into me and after a while I have my hands on her sides/hips and she is dancing/grinding on me (this went on for over an hour). I think we are both somewhat shy so no real eye contact while we are dancing (her back is to me the whole time but she doesn't look back at me but tons of physical contact).

unless you got sick dance floor game, stay away from it. Those girls are really hard to close.

When i say good dance floor game, you don't have to be a good dancer, but just go out and do it for your enjoyment and enjoy the moment. Watch girls just come up to you.
