I saw this nice girl 3 days ago on a party. I saw her and she gave me driectly IOI. I went to her and introduced myself. We started talking and it was pretty nice. She gave me IOI´s like deep eye contact with smile, brushing the her hair on a side and showing me her neck and some kino.
She was there with her flat mate who kept sitting besides us all the time and was telling some stories. She broke eye contact few times watching him while he was talking but returned her attention to me then. He did not wanted to leave and when I tried to isolate her he followed us. They just arrived so I thought ok the night is still young and I can try it later again. They went to the dancefloor and I got me a drink and was talking to some friends of mine and some other girls (she did not see it because she was on a different floor).
Later then I went to her and took her to the smoking room on another floor where some seats were. She was sitting directly besides me and not even 2 minutes have passed that her flat mate came again sitting directly besides her again. We talked again with same IOI´s but this time without the mutual kino. Then she pulled one leg up the seat and angled it in front of her like in a defensive position for few minutes. Leg returned down and when she asked me where I originally came from I told her (my family comes originally from serbia). When I told her this she said that when she thinks about serbian she directly thinks about rapists. I smiled and told her that she can give me her number and when we meet next time I will proof her the opposite. She avoided giving me her number with telling me some story about her being in china (where I was too for some time) we just talked a little about china and what we like about about it and then I told that she avoided me giving her number. I had badly to take a piss and told her that she can think about giving me her number till I come back. She said ok and I went to the toillet and when I returned she was herself at the toilet and only the flat mate was sitting there.
He directly told me that he does not think she will give me her number and that I can forget it. I sit directly besides him so that there was a free seat besieds me at the corner of the table. She returned and took the seat across from me so that there was one empty space between us. She started to told me that she just came out of a relationship which went terrible wrong and then she switched the topic and tried asking me out, about myself, again. She wanted to see my identity card, with the justification that she thinks that everybody looks silly on the pictures of the cards. She gave me first hers to show me how silly she looked then I showed her mine.
We went dancing then. The flat mate followed us again. We were dancing and he tried to entertain her all the time with making funny moves and making jokes about himself. I could net get her complete attention back. The club was getting empty and I thought "fuck that shit lets change the location and try it on another one" and told her that I am going to smoke one last cigarette upstairs and then I will leave.
I took my mate, who was triyng picking up another girl all the time, with me and we went upstairs. She followed us with (of course) flat mate up. Upstairs she said to me "You can give me your number" I just smiled and put my mobile away and said, "Sry no. You can give me yours and then I will give you mine.". I got it then.
I leaved with my friend to another club. Next day I wrote her a message if she likes to meet for a coffee. She wrote back that she has no time till saturday or sunday. Today she called me in the morning what I have missed. I called her back 4 hours later she did not answer. I wrote a message that I missed the call and asked what´s up. Later she answered that the call was mistakenly done.


Thats the story. Here I thought it started pretty well but during the night it became worse. What do you think? What were my mistakes and what could I have done better? (probably much) Thanks in advance for the answers.

You seem far too calculated and formulaic about things in this situation. Try to loosen up and just focus on trying to have fun with her (whoever she is on whatever night). I feel like the number close was your number one goal and nothing else. I can run around a club or bar and get numbers all night. It becomes very simple. However, timing is important. Make sure she's worth your time before you consider grabbing up her number.

The interactions you had lasted ALL NIGHT, too. That's not acceptable in my opinion. If anything, you should have met her, teased her a little and disappeared until you were about to leave and then invited her to either come with or told her, "Hey, put your number in my phone and I'll call you sometime." Thx for the answer. Luck for me that it was not all night. I went to another club after that. The small just became empty (compared to the clubs in US or Asia this probably can't even be called a club). In the meantime, while she was on the dancefloor, I tried approaching and escalating with some other girls there but it did not worked out well. But I agree that this story with the girl took too much time. The #close was not the goal at the beginning but after I though it did not went good, after she did not respondes to kino any more, I wanted at least her number to get a second chance. I am still new in this pick up stuff so I am thankfull for every answer which makes me wiser and I can learn from. Thx for your answer and I am thankfull about every following answer I get.
