How to take a compliment?

The other day, I asked a girl what she thought of my cardigan sweater, she didn't even mention the sweater she said, "You look very handsome - very attractive." But as she said it she sorta lowered her voice little by little and walked away, I didn't really know how to take the compliment - to be honest with you. I just said, "Thank you, right back at ya!"

I just felt like there should hv been a better way to respond to the compliment - the pua way - you know.

THANK YOU is the best way. You said thank you so I think you did well. I just would have tried harder to stop her from leaving.

Well to be Honest JS, I didn't Personally find her attractive, but she did seem like a nice girl. So I didn't really wanna fight for it. Btwthere is this girl I'd like to game - I tried but it coulda went better, Tell me what u think it's in a thread I started called "Where did I go wrong."

Im kinda used to getting that, so the best thing you can do is, tell her thank you... and change the subject like you are used to. or you can say ... " I know"

If you say "i know", and she says, "wow you're a jerk", or something like that, what do you say?

This girl came up to me and said, you're really cute, and not knowing what to say i just smiled n looked away. And she said, "thats what you do when someone tells you youre cute?" and she wasnt pleased. So i said more people come up to me and tell me i'm ugly, and she laughed n said no and was more receptive.

Why you told her that?

She wont tell you that, you tell her I know in a cock funny way. After that you ask her name, and give your hand to shake it, and hold her hand like 3seconds, dont shake it

But if she goes jerk mode I would do this

You: I know!
Her: Wow! you are jerk
You: Two out of two, omg you must be pyshic. What your name? and how the hell you do that? funny way


or

ou: I know!
Her: Wow! you are jerk
You: See we are getting to know eachother. we must have connection :). Let me try and guess something about you.

I thought the handshake bit was really interesting, about not shaking it and just holding it. I kinda have my take on that, I remember Style said everything that was cool at the playground is cool again. So next time you shake her hand put your hand out and as soon as she goes to shake it, pull your hand away and say, "Sike!! Too slow!" than really shake her hand as this guy mentioned!

What do you think of that method? But possibly it won't be as effective if ur coming off as a jerk.
