Hi guys, I'm new to PUA. I read a lot about it (books, this forum, etc.) Very interesting stuff. I'd like to know what you think about what happend to me.

Last saturday I was going out with a mixed group of friends. We were having lots of fun. I had some drinks, danced and talked to a lot of girls, not only of our group.

Of course I used some techniques I read about, but I had no intention in picking up girls.

Suddenly this guy comes up to me, puts his arm around me and tells me that I am a real alpha alpha male (this may sound weird, because I am a newbie in PUA). Before I could react he was gone.

Of course I know what an alpha male is, but I never heard of an alpha alpha male. Was this guy giving me a compliment or just making fun of me??

If you have to question it, its most likely he was making fun of you... However, i don't know why is it you care enough to post about it some time after.. Do you honestly let some strangers would stick to you for that long? Shed it like snake skin bro..peace

When a stranger puts his arm around me, I just move a bit so his arm just hangs there in the air.

If he doesn't look very threatening I sometimes turn to face him, catch his nose between my thumb and index finger, shake it a bit and smile at him. But be prepared to for a punch in that case...they're shocked and freeze in most of the cases, but once the guy just tried to punch me. But I'm sure there are better methods than mine and I would love to hear about them.

So you only do that to non threat guys. Good for you.

What I would do if it happens to me and there is a girl I like near me , I would tell him, Hey that my girlfriend and quick put my arms around her, and would tell her geezus even guys go after me"

Perhaps you were so obviously using 'PUA techniques' he was taking the mick out of it, probably saved the embarassment of a girl saying it to you!
