I'm a bit of a newb here, and am trying to figure out how a coffee date went.

So I met an HB7 at a wedding recently. We arranged for coffee during the day since most of her classes are in the evening. She was an international student from Portugal working on her phd.

I maintained eye contact, and kept my body posture relaxed, leaning back and facing 2 o clock if she was at 12.

I noticed her playing with her hair at times, and crossing and uncrossing her legs frequently. We shared some laughs and seemed to have a good time. Said I had to leave after 45 min.

So, what the hell am I supposed to make out of a coffee date? It's a pretty safe environment, and any sort of kino was out of the question as the table seperated us. Not Ideal.

I feel like I got some IOI's. But there was no kiss close. Is this something I should expect? or do coffee dates not end this way.

The lesson I've taken so far is " don't do coffee dates " But if theres any other pointers you can give me, please let me know.

Heck, I've gone on coffee dates and F-closed that same day.... They can be useful if you know how to work it. If she had a real time constraint like that then I'd be working at the end of our date to set another time when she had more time to spend. Kiss close could happen depending on how you escalate things.

Don't sit across from her sit next to her btw.

Obviously I need to figure out how to work it.

It's not too hard... Basically you just have to get her on the coffee date. Sit next to her and kino when you can, build attraction, build rapport, and try to move her to an instant date after coffee... At times you can be a little sexual.

Maybe you bounce from the coffee shop to get ice cream, food, or do something. This starts to get her comfortable with you doing different things... You need to start uping the kino escalation. You can further sexualize the conversation if you're going for a lay. Then once this is established it's pretty easy to bounce her to your place for a movie or some other social excuse before having sex.

The only thing that prevents this usually is logistics that she has somewhere later to be or has to be up early the next morning. Otherwise you can typically work this out.

Get her to your place, put in a movie, snuggle, and let things take their course. The hard part is over. When in doubt if it doesn't happen no big deal, setup a Day 2 and go from there.
