Hey guys I'm pretty sure what I need to do in this situation, but I just wanted to come here to solidify the proper action. There's this girl at work (she's 23, I'm 20) that I've recently been getting really flirty with. I'm solid in my game in interactions with her. I like her, I know she likes me. So here's the deal: A few weeks ago she asked me to come by and have dinner at her other job. ( she's a bar tender at this fancy restaurant) So i came by, ate, and chatter with her in between customers ( it was a crazy busy night) Anyways, to my surprise she payed for my meal. So the next week I wanted to "return the favor" and ask her to have dinner with me. So I asked her and she agreed. We had set it up for a tuesday evening for the following week. So Monday comes around the next week and I texted her and said, 'Hey! we still on for tomorrow?" and she immediately texted back and was like " Hey! no, I'm working the night shift" Now in my head I'm like ?????????. So I just texted her back and said " Lamee!! alright next time" Long story short we ended up trying for the next tuesday ( which was today) same fucking thing you guys! No go.. "work".. she keeps on saying "we'll do it the next time I'm off". I'm not gonna sit around and keep asking her when she'll be off next. shits annoying. I'm sure many of you can relate to this. So what should I do guys? I'm thinking I should just can it. And by the way. Nothing has changed in our interactions at all...still playful..still flirting...still touching. its a good energy. But fuck this flaking shit

Looks like she wants you chasing after her, some girls like it that way before they ultimately agree to sleep with you. It's also possible she's just playing you. Been through something like that a few times before, so what I did was cut off communication for awhile.

Whenever she called or texted to meet up, I made up excuses as to why I can't go. On one girl, it worked to my advantage, where the girl seemed more and more desperate to see me again. As for the rest, they decided I wasn't worth the chase and eventually gave up with trying to contact me lol.

But if giving up on her is easier and okay on your end, and you feel that she's not going to go out of her way to get you back into her life, then go for it bro!

Hey Max, thanks for the input. It's one of those harsh realities that you have to deal with if you truly are being played lol. I'm just gonna put the brakes on things with her for a while and see how things turn out.
