@Anivia,

If you have the money, try to eat 2000 calories of vegetables per day.

I personally eat around 1200 calories, and have been doing it for around 3 months with no side-effects, and only benefits.

For your 10 day trial, only eat raw vegetables. IF you do find them a bit hard to chew, you can steam them to soften them a bit, but don't go overboard.

As for what to eat, read the posts above...

good luck, you'll need it...the cravings and withdrawal symptoms are 10x than opening a 5 set of only 10HBs...

@ BoxerSpirit,

I do believe this will have impact on anybody, even if you aren't technically "allergic" to gluten.

Why? I have done my research on food (over 4+ years now) and grains (which included gluten, which is part of wheat) are relatively new to the human diet. Some countries, such as america and asia, were the first to use grains in a large scale. Therefore, their bodies are more adapted to consume a LARGER quantity of grains, especially gluten.

People from HISPANIC, or EUROPEAN decent (such as Poland) have a greater tolerance to grains. Their diet for centuries revolved around potatoes or corn (which it is a grain, however, hispanics have consume this for centuries and have evolved to consume LARGE quantities...but not wheat). So grains such as wheat can have a mental effect on the brain.

This Public Health Government study shows that in countries where grain consumption is low, schizophrenia(this is the disease I speak of in the first post) is also low.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6609726

So, in conclusion, if you are american you are able to eat LARGE quantities of grains, especially wheat, with no NOTICEABLE mental effects. However, by NOTICEABLE effects I mean what it is NORMAL in america. Since everyone eats the same, even if we're sick as fuck, we say that we are normal since everybody feels the same.

Grains is not a food you need to survive. It is just tasty. You can survive off just meat and vegetables, and if you're willing to do the research you will learn that you can just live off vegetables and fruits. (I am not putting down any meat eaters since I LOVE MEAT, PORK, and FISH...I just stopped eating them for health reason that most wouldn't understand...btw the essential amino acids that you can only get from meat it's a big fucking lie, and I'll stopped there)

So because grains are not needed and because the MORE you consume the worst you feel, I do believe EVERYBODY would benefit from NOT eating grains. And also DAIRY....if you come to think about it, the american diet is basically bread and cheese, not including meat.

And I know how stupid this sounds. I know how crazy this sounds. I know there's probably moderators saying to ban this post....It took me 4+ years to believe in this, because that's how long it took me to try it.

So, whether you believe this or not, all you have to do is the 10 DAY TRIAL mentioned in the previous posts to come to my conclusion. DO NOT waste 4+ years like I did, just try it

Don't be a bitch

by "you" i don't mean BoxerSpirit...just anyone reading this post

I have a fairly extensive history when it comes to issues with food. In fact Nutrition is a widely debated subject to this day. They are still not certain of a lot of the chemical digestion processes that occur in the body

Hey PUA Lucky, thanks for the post.

For the 10 day trial what exactly should we be expecting to feel mentally each day of the trial?

And would taking a multi-vitamin affect it?

Okay, I've almost completed my first day with vegetables only. I just had salat for dinner btw! It really sucked, but so far I can stick with it.

But since I got celiac disease, wouldn't it just be better to cut off the gluten products? And instead of vegetables only, add meat etc. and real food? :p

@ SunnyHolly,
I couldn't have said it better 8)

@ Dilaks,
Good luck, you'll need it

@ pollykok,
You will feel like shit.

I can't tell you what each day will feel like...but there will be days when you will get headaches, you will get INTENSE cravings to eat food other than vegetables (especially anything made from bread, or milk), you will have no energy, you will have insomnia, you will get angry easily, you will probably be constipated, you will think that this diet is bullshit.

These feelings will last around 8-10 days, after that you will notice a difference. And you feel them because your body is detoxing from all the SHIT you have been eating thru the years. You do the crime, You do the time.

Don't take vitamins, they're useless. Even if you're not on this diet, any kind of supplements are useless. And if you're using prescription drugs, you should be able to get off of them after around 2 months...but check with your doctor for that, don't ask me cux there are too many diseases with too many prescriptions to know them all, even for any doc haha

@ BerryBoy,
that's great...green pee is not bad. Green pea means that you're consuming extra vitamins or that your body cannot consume them. This also happens when you overdose on vitamin supplements, especially vitamin B.

Don't worry about and keep going. I believe since your body is detoxing it cannot yet absorb so much nutritional content from the veggies. It will fix in a couple of days

@ Anivia,
Like I said, eating just meat and veggies is PERFECT.

You are eating only veggies for 10 DAYS. After that, feel free to jump back on meat, if you do crave it. Remember, humans die after not eating for 60 days. You will be fine eating just veggies for 10.

Also, most celiac disease are also affected by DAIRY (aka cheese, milk, yogurt, etc) If you do have celiac you should definitely see and improvement when NOT eating Dairy. In fact, you may NOT see an improvement if you eat dairy.

BIG NOTE: IF you do try this diet, follow ALL directions. If you do "cheat" with even a skittle, you will be fucking up this diet and will not work. It takes a lot of will power.

I eat raw food vegan for almost 6 months last year, I will say it's very high energy, you fart a lot and poop a lot, you feel great and if your looking to lose weight this will do it.

there's a documentary out there called "forks over knives" that's really good to watch if your thinking about doing this.

It's not an easy change but I recommend at least giving it a shot.

Best of luck

I'm thinking about giving this a shot, I am concerned that it will be especially hard for me though, because I work in a bakery, and as other people have mentioned I don't want to feel like I am sabotaging my weightlifting efforts.

@ Lucky69,

Bastard you took my name!

Yes, after 10 days you can go back to eating meat, nuts, fruits, etc...but NO DAIRY OR GRAINS!!! (The are different kind of "carbs", grains is just one of them)

I do recommend that if you do manage to go for 10 days, you should continue it for longer....you will progressively feel better...just don't go overboard, if you can do it for 60 days great, but don't go any further

As far as coming back to a regular diet, make sure you do eat more veggies/fruits than you do protein (from meat and nuts)
Unless you do workout excessively, you don't need the extra protein...It just going to make your body work harder to get rid of the excess acidity produce by the excess protein

@ ExNathan,

NO TEA!!! Just water!!! :D
Seriously, you want to go completely HEALTHY...I know tea is healthy, but it's better if you don't...You can come back to it after 10 days
I personally drink green tea once in a while without sugar...sugar ruins the nutrition purposes of green tea

As far as oranges, feel free
Just make sure to eat 1 - 4 per day at most...and make sure you eat more veggies than you do fruits

@ Gunslinger,
Sry to tell you this, but if you do follow this "diet" for life, you will lost all your "muscles". By muscles, I mean the muscles that a person think they have but in fact it's all garbage + muscles.

Good news is that once your body gets rids of all of bad food you eating over the years (and thus become skinny, healthy skinny not anexic skinny) your body will begin to get big again...and if you workout, you can get REAL big...just try to get your protein from nuts and potatoes primarily (potatoes have around 7g of protein per potato)

Your diet plan sounds a lot like the Paleo diet, except with less meats. Would I not be able to get the same or similar results by jumping into the paleo diet and just having a longer adjustment period?
