I met a French HB9 at a bar Fri. night. We found out that our jobs were very simlar, and I think this helped build rapport w/ her. While we were talking at the bar, she encouraged me to attend a business function that her company is having next Fri. @4:30pm. I number closed and left quickly because her friend was trying to get me away from her.

I texted her tonight (Sun.) simply saying it was nice to meet her, and she responded positively saying it was really nice meeting me (neither of us mentioned this business function)

Here is my question: Should I attend the function Fri. and then try for another date at a later time? Should I attend the function and ask her to get a drink afterwards? Should I not to attend the function (she only mentioned at bar)
and try to set up a date where it is just the 2 of us and not business-related?

She did encourage me at the bar to attend this function at her place of business,
but would it be setting a bad precedence as a "business relationship" or DLV by going to this meeting at her place of busines as our first encounter outside the bar? I feel that it would look too needy to ask her for a 1 on 1 date before this coming Fri. (which is when her business function will take place). What should I do?
