Hi guys, this is Beats from the UK. Firstly i'd just like to say a big thank you for all the tips and advice that is on this forum its a great resource for us guys that are just beginning to develop our game.

The topic that i'd like to discuss is what i've called "trigger point", although i'm sure there are many alternative names. I found last night that although my game worked well (in fact I was actually amazed at how well it went) that on a couple of occasions I just missed that moment when I should of closed (to be honest I had had a couple of drinks so probably was not as sharp as I should have been) but I'm now feeling slightly frustrated that looking back, a good night could have actually been a very good night!

I'm thinking that its probably all down to experience and as with anything the more you practice the better you will get. I guess what i'd like to know is for you more experienced guys when you are running your game is there a point that you get to when you automatically know that its time to pull the trigger (I understand IOI theories etc) and close the deal?

Hey RBeats, welcome to the forum!

To answer your question directly... Yeah, as with any skill, the more you practice the easier it gets to spot the signs, and make the moves. Personally, I've had problems in the past with pulling the trigger. I'm finding more and more(within the last month or so) that it's been getting easier and easier. Of course the IOI's have to be there, but as far as I'm concerned the most important ones are eye contact and kino. The eyes reveal a lot more than you'd think...

Also, I've found that a quick, sometimes even awkward pause in conversation is just perfect for moving in for the Kiss.

Good luck, hope this helps!

~Muse
