This happened a couple of weeks ago, but I wanted to get some more advice.

I was talking to this one girl on a cold approach next to a bar. She was initially unreceptive, but I got her laughing and things were going ok until this AMOG pushes himself in between me and her and starts talking to her. I get pissed, go get a drink from the bar, and when I return, I pat him on the head, give it a rub, then take both of my hands and grab his shoulders. I shake him a little bit and shout into his ear, "Thanks for getting the fuck out of the way of the bar."

He then turns around me, and says "Don't touch my shoulders. You hurt my shoulders," in an extremely slurred voice. I look over and the girl I was talking to has turned her back and is clearly freaked out and is beginning to move away from both of us. So, I just blow him a kiss, pat his head one more time, and start looking for more targets.

Anyway, I obviously lost my cool, but I am glad in hindsight I didn't slug the guy. (I was at least six inches taller than this guy and could have manhandled him, but I didn't want to get thrown out of the club by starting a real fight)

I feel like an ass doing this, but I know I would have felt like an even bigger ass by doing nothing. And if it is a choice of damned if you do, damned if you don't, I would rather be damned by doing.

But, what would you guys have done in this situation? I thought about it, but am not sure what else I could do since he had boxed me out from the girl.

two things, when ever some asshole touches you, accuse him of being gay, right away, loudly, WHOA...LISTEN, IM NOT GAY OR PROUD, KEEP YOUR HANDS TO YOURSELF

what ever he does, if you have rapport with the girl give her a confused look that says who the fuck is this guy, and point at him, if she does nothing from the look, follow up with, do you know this guy?

if she says no, just say excuse me, cut in grab her by the hand and move her, if he comes back, lock her the fuck in, bring her close as possible to you, ignore him, put your back to him cut him out


*note* ignore the guy at all costs, focus on the girl, get closer to the girl then him, he is not your focus she is, if he touches you keep making gay references

First off hes not a AMOG, and he's got no gaming skills so don't be jealous
Girls don't like guys who physically separate them from anyone and in your case she thought he was creepy. Pumpingtons approach seems pretty good but basically you shouldn't be in a position like that in the first place, if you can you should be as close to her as possible to increase tension.
Another approach would be to openly accuse him of hitting on here "O hey dude sorry didn't know, well ya know, she was yours"
Two responses "What? oh her? no" leaves with head down*
or "yea easy mistake" (you wouln't get this response unless they're drunk off their @ss) in which case its easier to move on then deal with the guy to try to get the girl (especially since she probly heard it and is going to reject him for saying that soon, come back in 5 mins and he'll be gone)

only decent piece of advice here. AMOGing is mostly in your mind. Most guys aren't trying to fuck you over, they're just interested in girls. I've never felt amogd in my life, and some of my best friends are very famous, they could if they wanted to. but that's not what most people are like.

Agreed. Better to be chill and cool next time. (though I did get a good laugh with my buddies about this afterwards).
