Hey guys, I am new to the PUA way of life and I have found that I have no problem opening sets but I have no idea what to do after that. I know the concept of escalation and closing but I am unsure of how to put it into practice.

Most of the time it is because I hit the friends bitch shield and that just makes me want to leave because I am not sure how to handle it... How can I destroy the bitch shield so that I can talk to the girl I am interested in??

Hey there. After the opener you want to work on building attraction. Basically, this is done through a combination of DHVs and Negs.

DHVs can be anything that make you look good, be it stories or games or gambits. Try to get the girl involved in something. Run a routine on her, or if you wish to go a complete natural way, just get into a fun conversation with her. Make an observation about her, cold read her. "You look like..." "You guys look like...".

Negs are anything that disqualify you as a potential suitor, i.e "You're so hot. Too bad you're not my type" or "I love your hair. Is it real? Oh well, I guess it looks nice anyway."

If the bitch shield came up then you expressed too much interest too quickly. Remember, you are just having fun so you are not even hitting on her. You are, if done correctly, just seeking the advice from a woman on a topic. Remember to fake like you are leaving also. She will think it's just a pass thru and you aren't going to stick around all night.

I will leave a set and open up another so the target sees me chatting with attractive women. She doesn't know I don't have a clue who they are. All she sees are pretty women laughing with me. Then I bounce back when I want to and escalate things with the original target. Sometimes I actually find someone better and don't go back to my target. Funny how the game is played.

I've actually been having a lot of fun (a lot more than in the past) and I have encountered a few bitch shields... Mainly from the cockblockers of the group or as I like to call them... Twat-swatters!!! And I just turn around and say 'Ohhhh isn't it so u cute!', then 'that you're looking out for your friends', I then give them more of my attention while I neg the target and then their fine with me but I always come across as fun and non-interested in the target.

It's amazing how the game is played lol
