I've been working on this one girl for about 4 weeks. When shes sober shes very shy and sweet and not very sexual and when shes drunk shes basically the opposite. I'm not a particularly good pua, i'm not charming or outgoing, however i am witty and I defidently radiate sexual vibes and manliness.
A problem I have is when I'm in a situation when there are many more guys than girls and the guys are competing for the few women I really suck. Generally in this situation I just sit back and wait. I like to think of it as fishing instead of hunting. However to be perfectly honest....this does not work.
Recently I was invited to a party by the girl mentioned above. There was about 20 guys and maybe 5 girls. I was completely sober (i had just finished work and gone to the party) and everyone else was varying levels of drunk. I didnt know anyone except the girl who invited me, but as soon as I got there I chatted with different groups of people. The night went pretty uneventfully but as the party wound down there was only 6 people left myself, the girl I came with and 4 other guys all going after her. I sat back casually and let them fight it out over her, thinking I'd just get her in the end. But as time passed she gravitated towards one of the guys who had been hitting on her to the point that he had his arm around her and she was leaning on him. At this point I was frickin pissed and about to decapitate the guy, so I decided just to leave. The girl knew I was pissed. She called me later and apologized and asked me to come over and talk the next day, which I did. She appologized again and said that he was a guy she had met before me and kinda hit it off with but i guess after i left he became kind of an ass after i left and she ditched him. Now...What do I do.
She knows i was rattled, she knows i was jealous.
Is she using me as kind of a backup guy?
Should I continue to pursue her? and if so, how?
Should I drop her altogether?
When your at a party and its a sausage fest, how do you conduct yourself?

I take your point, however i met this girl previous to the party, and she invited me there. Are you basically saying i took to long and should have fucked her before the party even happened?

and that is, in that particular setting (parties, especially high guy/girl ratio) you get outshined. it's great that you realize this. the same thing happens to me. because in that environment (which sucks, btw) it's a fucking peacock'fest. a bunch of chode teabaggers grunting in unison and swinging their dicks around. basically a bunch of dogs barking. well, i am mean as fuck. but i don't bark. i bite. but "biting" isn't sexy. "barking" is though. women love a bunch of man-dogs, lol, barking to outbark each other. haha, anyway (cracking myself up here).

avoid those situations. find situations where you are at your best. and that suit your personality. next time she invites you to a party with chode-teabaggers swinging their dicks around, say "wow i wish i could, i've got this thing going on. but hey, i'll still giv you the privelege of going to this other thing with me tuesday!"

HAHAHA you got it man. Lots of drunk idiots sounding off, doing whatever they possibly can to get attention. Although I didnt know what the scene was gonna be like, your point still stands. As soon as I walked through the door I should've said "you know this doesnt look like my kinda party, but I know this cool bar down the street, i'm gonna go check it out-you can come if you want otherwise we can hang out later" Am I following ya?

I know one dating coach called Chase Amante who runs a website called girlschase.com who says he doesn't even bother going with girls to night clubs.
There are a few main reasons for this.

1 - Too much competition
2 - Girls have less attention on you
3 - You have a harder time trying to escalate compared to a 1 on 1 date.

Personally I try avoiding them as well. Just try and get the girl on a proper date between the two of you. If she rejects then she's basically saying she just wants to be friends. If that's the case get the message and move on.
