Basically I have been having a problem with a girl (HB8 in my estimation) who I've just started Uni with. We met once a long time ago, but I added her on Facebook about a month before we came and we seemed to hit it off very well, and since arriving 3 weeks ago we have seen a fair bit of each other, and she has initiated the majority of it.
However, it has almost always been alone; with our mutual good friend (a guy, but its platonic, he has a gf) with her housemates, her best friend from home, even once with her dad who was visiting, and TBH, while I'm positive she was interested initially, I think things may have started to stale. It could be paranoia, but its just a hunch, and judging from the tone of our correspondence.
She gives me a lot of iois (sitting very close, touching me a lot, giggling randomly for no reason, the like, telling me that a speech I gave at the debating society was 'one of the most exciting moments of her life)
While at the same time, giving me IODs (randomly walking off if were in a group, occasionally ignoring texts, saying about this guy I introduced her to briefly was 'really cute, can you introduce him to me again) although, and I haven't been in the Game long enough to tell, I THINK they are shit tests.

I've finally managed to organize a meet up, that while not being alone, is the nearest I think I'll get at the moment (a very fancy college black tie dinner) and I'm hoping that if I play my cards right, this could be my chance to close.
But I wonder if her reluctance to see me alone is a sign that I've been friend zoned, and may well be wasting my energy. I should point out that my exploits in the first few weeks have gotten me something of a certain notoriety around here, after nearly being arrested (in fact, in direct contrast to my pre-Uni existence, and I honestly think more due to luck than skill, I have something of a reputation as a player. In my infinite idiocy, I happened to tell her about an ONS I had the previous weekend when I saw her last, but I'm hoping my one moment of lapsed judgement wont destroy me. I also happened to finger a girl in public at a party and have it go round my entire House, but freshers week is freshers week....)

So, does anyone have any general advice for my situation. If things are staling, which I feel they may be, what should I do to rejuvenate things on Friday if its the last chance I get?
As for my reputation, do I just ignore it and get on with things, or should I take some action to defuse it, show her i'm not completely crazy.
I should mention, that while getting with her would be great, I would prefer a relationship in this context to a mere fling.

Sounds like she has accepted you as being in the friend zone but would be open to moving it forward. I think Gambler's method for this is good...just wait till you are together having some personal conversation then just start glancing at her lips and talking slower, move in for the kiss and use push-pull tactics saying things like "we shouldnt do this, i dont want to mess up our friendship" but keep doing it anyway..

I had the same kinda thing happen to me in Uni. I did not escalate faster and a good friend of mine (then), fucked her, she thought I was gay after I did not respond to her IOI's, apparently.

Look, realize everything that comes out of a womans mouth is a test. Everything, even as she is spitting out a load, mauahha.

Pick up David DeAngelo's Double your Dating, will really give you an eye opener into what is going on in her mind and how you should act...Besides the game, that book blew my mind and opened me up to women.

Anyway: Quick rundown...IT IS NOT TOO LATE to get the ball going, the great thing about college is, its full of second chances and yall are around each other by circumstance instead of at random....That is good news. Don't think next Friday is it. Could be a bunch of reasons why she avoids being with you alone, I choose to believe that she is so crazy about you she might just jump your bones and get freaky with you if she does so, she avoids it....Might be a good mindset to take...

Romance is not everything, you have to show here IOI's too, and not everything needs to be romantic...Pick on her...be playful, again, show interest, hold out your hand and see if she will take it, ect...I am sure you are familiar with push pull here.

Get her interest, step away, step it forward, step away, do this until she is crazy about you, TBH it sounds like she is open minded about it and just needs a show from you.

Also, telling her about a ONS you had might not have been the best thing ever, but if your reputation is that of a player you might just be fine, just don't mention anything like that again...She probably figures your DTF.
