Hi, this is my first post here and I've been reading around this forum and I have to say it's great. The reason I've stumbled across this forum is because a few years ago I had confidence that I could get quite a few girls. However It's been like 4-5 years and my confidence is at an all time low and it's starting to pick up but I'm still showing some AFC traits. Just thought I'd join and get some help from you experts

Anyways, I was texting this girl exchanged a few texts and I was the one that replied last. Few days the convo went as follows:

Me: You didn't reply to my text, I guess my pretty little friend has been stolen lol (22:29)

Her: Who stole wat? (22:30)

Her: Dude who stole wat? (22:31)

I don't know why she messaged twice maybe she thought the first message didn't go through? I don't know what to reply just need some help and to gain my confidence back, losing my AFC traits with the help of you guys.

She could feel forced to respond because you called her on not responding, probably not though. Regardless you already called her on it so you might as well follow through but maybe move to a subject. You did after all get a response.

The one thing that I've been keeping in me head is that Neil Strauss/Mystery ' go 20% more than you think you have' (loooose paraphrase) but idea is for guys that are new to the game if you feel like it's dying out in conversation you've lost what to say, she is showing signs of disinterest and you wanna bail stick round that little bit more and try to keep it moving so you can learn. Go that bit out of your comfort so you will learn.

About what to do now I think its past the point but don't sweat it plenty more opportunities. (Also thaaat is my opinion and I'm still 'fresssh')

You should never call her out on lack of reply, it makes you look very needy and reveals the fact that youve been waiting on her text all this time.

If she doesn't reply then after a period of time has elapsed you can re-initiate by introducing a new subject, not carrying on the old one.

She sounds dense, maybe she didnt understand...good. Just say "Nvm. XXX", where XXX= some new topic and take it from there.

Yeah, brush off the no reply. When she don't text back just wait for at least two weeks before texting or initiating any contact. Usually, if I don't get a reply twice... See Ya, and delete ya!

this might sound lame.... The best way to get good at texting is start less desirable ladies. They'll be more forgiving with lame material.You can test stuff on them before trying the latest text gambit on an HB.

Thanks guys I appreciate the advice that has been given so far. KD you do have a point I think most people limit themselves in what they can do, not just in picking up girls but in other aspects of life.

dlightmen and thedocta I don't really make a fuss if a girl doesn't respond, I just saw this kind of response on a forum and it was the situation I was in and thought I'd try it out and see if it works but it didn't lol.

We text back and forth quite often, sometimes I am the last one to send a text and sometimes it's her but I always initiate the texting. What I don't get is last time in person she showed me some IOIs. For example we were at a bar, I was sitting next to her sister and she and two of my mates were sitting opposite us and after a while she swapped seats with her sister to sit next to me quite close, lowers her voice when talking to me etc. I did a routine of where I was on facebook on my phone showing her guys I can hook her up with but she was like nah I like being single, but I dont know if that's an IOI.

I don't really care if i get with this girl but I like analysing things so I know why shes doing what shes doing and where I can improve so when I game other chicks I can learn from my mistakes.

What kind of IOIs do girls show when they are texting?

Biggest ioi when texting, from my experience, is when they start sending you pics of themselves. Either all dressed before they're going out or titty shots. Of course I mean when you haven't first asked for the pics. Huge ioi.

Only women that know they're attractive and are confident about their looks will do that tho.


Another (obvious) iou is when they initiate texts, or mention they love texting with you.

EDIT: another HUGE ioi is when they bring up the topic of sex. OMG, if they are into you, most women love to talk about sex.
