Lately I've been opening sets just fine, but its so hard for me to structure my game with negs, stories and whatever. I tried pre-thinking sets, but when I'm in there i forget everything and start saying random, every-day questions. Any tips?
The problem is that no matter how much you practice by yourself, sets are never going to go the way you want them to. Social interactions are way too unpredictable, so it's kind of a waste of time for you to nail down a complete scenario since chances are it won't happen.
The only thing I'd suggest you to do is to memorize a "couple" of questions to ask when the conversation goes flat. You start by that, and while she's answering, it gives you time to remember a routine to use (if you need it).
Over time and a lot of practice, you'll have an internalized set of questions and stories to use at your will, but it will take some practice.
