by stalk I mean going through their albums, photos and looking through their pics.

Yes, I have done it and it's actually quite helpful.

First thing I check - if they're single or not.

If you flip through some pictures, you get a gist of how crazy they are and it's easier to match your energy level to theirs when you're talking. You'll be surprised how crazy some girls are but are quiet as a mouse when you first meet them.

Nah. May look if they're single and their profile pictures but other than that I don't really care unless I see something actually interesting (for example travel in an obviously far away place).

I do use it to match faces to names when I have an attendance list of a course or event.

I assumed doing this was normal? If a girl adds me I'll go thru some pics trying to find one where I can properly see how hot she is lmao. Shallow I know but you've all done it!

I know girls that have done this to me as well. It works both ways round. I wouldn't be surprised if just as many girls do this as guys.

I didn't even know that constituted stalking, I mean, I have a few
friends who are girls and I (out of curiosity) go through her
friends pics and just see what their like you know?

I don't think it's stalking as I don't feel mutually
attracted to them and have no real feelings
for them as such. I think the term "stalk"
is taken a little out of the context?
